Many people may be wondering what the difference is between property, regalia, and insignia. Here are some definitions for each that may make things less confusing.
Property - Items that depreciate in value fairly quickly, and that are not worn. Examples are: thrones, pavilions, tables, feast gear, etc.
Regalia - The emblems, symbols, or paraphernalia indicative of an office or status that is passed from one person to another. Items that are owned by a group, do not depreciate in value quickly, and are worn. Examples are: crowns, coronets, champion medallions, etc.
Insignia - A symbol or token of personal status or office and that are owned by an individual. Examples are: award tokens, circlets, etc.
